TurboTax Premier automatically imports your investment information from your financial institution which helps you complete your return quicker. TurboTax Premier also automatically calculates your capital gains and losses. For landlords, TurboTax Premier helps you find over 20 rental deductions and shows your best rental depreciation method. It costs $74.95 for your federal return and $39.95 for your state return, which comes to a total of $114.90. Both your federal and state returns include free e-filing.

TurboTax Premier plan gives you access to technical support via phone, live chat, email, and TurboTax's knowledgebase.  TurboTax's technical support is very responsive and knowledgeable.  If you are reporting investments or rental income, the TurboTax Premier plan is good for you.
