Medical Expenses

Any unreimbursed expenses for health care for an individual and his or her dependents, which usually includes visits to doctors, dentists and hospitals, transportation to location of care, prescriptions and health insurance premiums. Medical expenses exceeding 7.5% of adjusted gross income can be deducted in the itemized deductions.
